Forth Clyde Canal Opens

The Canal Operators, British Waterways, have announced the Grangemouth sea lock opens on May 1st and the rest of the Forth & Clyde from the 26th May.

Pre-booking is advised, and cruisers wishing to attempt the passage of the River Carron are advised to use caution, and plan the passage carefully.

British Waterways will publish further information including tide tables and details of the opening events from the 26th to the 28th, on its website www.scottishcanals.co.uk.
