Lighting will take place "in the next 18 months or so" and 4 wks notice given in TH NMS.
Plough Seat Buoy LAT 55 DEG 40'.37N., LONG 01 DEG 44'.87W had a light (Q.R.) fitted in August 2000.
Following consultation on the future of Newton Buoy in position Latitude 55° 32'.17N, Longitude 01° 35'.75W it has been decided not to remove it but to continue it as an unlighted buoy. It lies to the north east of rocks at the south end of Beadnell Bay.
